Assistant Management Accountant

Company Description

We are looking for someone who has experience of working in a retail business, predominantly ecommerce. You will need to be a team player and be eager to pitch in when required. You will have a high attention to detail and be able to multitask. You need to have had exposure to Chinese imports, stock, and transactional cash reconciliation.

Job Description

Responsibilities to include:

  • Assist the Head of Finance and existing Management accountant with the production of month end management information pack
  • Assist the existing MA to bring in new transactional cash reconciliation processes to the business and once this process in implemented to continue with the daily reconciliations
  • Assist with annual profit plan forecasting process
  • Assist with yearend accounts and audit
  • Update and cash flow forecasting
  • KPI reporting
  • Support the accounts assistant if required
  • Assist with bank reconciliations/invoice processing/ supplier payments as and where required (to cover absence)

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Minimum full AAT qualification
  • Ideally experience of Xero accounts package
  • Excellent Excel skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy are key
  • Knowledge of UK GAAP
