Description:

The position is for
a Marketing Specialist who will be on the front-line in implementing and running brand-related and marketing strategies and campaigns in the different companies across the Group.

The role holder will report to the Executive Office on the progress made in respective projects and present outcomes and overall impact of the projects. 

This position is ideal for an energetic marketing professional with sound experience and understanding of marketing approaches and with the personal drive to implement and deliver on allocated projects and assignments.

Relevant Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelors
    Degree Qualification in Marketing, Communication and other business-related field from a recognized institution.
  • Membership in the Marketing Society of Kenya will be a plus. 
  • Post-graduate or advanced qualification in Marketing or other business related field will be a plus. 
  • Knowledge of other languages outside of English and Swahili will be a plus.
  • Design thinking capabilities preferred.
  • Digital Marketing skills and Social Media dynamics required. 
  • Reporting skills.
  • General understanding of business concepts.
  • Communication Excellence.
  • Team effectiveness –
    ability to work with different participants and stakeholders.
  • Coordination and Organization. 
  • Problem
    solving.
  • Strong relationship management skills.
Responsibilities:
  • Conducting brand diagnosis where as a professional you are expected to examine and develop status report on the brand situation of the organizations in the Group.
  • Developing actionable strategies that could remedy the situation.
  • Putting together a proposal on the suggested solution for implementation. 
  • Pitching the approach to stakeholders for a buy-in and project funding. 
  • Ownership and delivery of interventions related to brand advancement. 
  • Project management of marketing – related projects and initiatives. 
  • Ensuring strong organizational presence on the various social media and digital spaces. 
  • Developing and presenting status and impact reports to the Executive office as well as to other internal stakeholders. 
  • Engage with internal and external players in partnerships that add value to the overall Brand and Marketing strategy pertaining to companies in the Group.
  • Playing a consultant role in advisory and implementation capacities towards a stronger and more reputable Brand in the market.
